[To both the comment and the question. Blue hurls herself up to a sitting position, then to her feet.
It's good that she's gotten good at memorizing the house, because when she hits the kitchen her eyes are still closed. She's in an oversized shirt, still no pants, but since this one goes to her knees it's all good.]
[Noah grins, scurrying over to her in socked feet. The tub of vanilla yogurt is open on the table, a tall, purple candle sticking out of the middle of it.]
[Blue rubs at her eyes slowly, and then leans over to weakly blow at her breakfast. The flame flickers for a moment, like it's seriously considering just staying lit before it snuffs out.]
Okay, birthday hug time.
[Still half asleep, Blue holds out her arms in Noah's general direction.]
[Noah joyfully obliges, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. The happier he is, the warmer he is - and right now, the skinny arms below his T-shirt sleeves are warm to the touch as any living human.
As he pulls her in close, though, he can't help but lean back just enough to press a soft little kiss to her cheek.]
